What is Facemory?

Facemory is an event photo delivery platform with face search. A photographer uploads the photos from an event, and each guest finds the photos they appear in with a short live face check.

How does Facemory work?

Facemory detects and indexes the faces in the uploaded photos. When a guest completes a short live face check, the image from it is compared against the faces from that single event and the guest receives the photos they match.

Can Facemory find people in group photos?

Yes. Every clear face in a photo is indexed, not just the main subject, so a guest standing in the back of a large group photo can still be matched to it.

Does a guest need an account?

No. Guests open the event link or scan the QR code, agree to the face processing, complete a short live face check, and search. There is no sign-up, no password and no app to install.

What happens to the face check?

The camera video goes directly to Amazon Web Services (AWS), which runs the live check for Facemory. Facemory uses the image from the check only for that one search against that one event. Facemory does not save the video or the image, does not add it to the event gallery, and does not use it to identify the guest at other events.

What does the photographer need to do?

Create the event, confirm they may upload the photos and that attendees were informed their faces will be processed, upload, and share the link or QR code. Face indexing does not start until that confirmation is recorded.

How long are event photos kept?

Most packages have a set gallery period (7 days for the free first event; 30, 90 or 180 days depending on the package), counted from the first photo uploaded to the event, not from the event date. When it ends, the guest page closes and the event's photos and face data are deleted automatically, normally within a day. The photographer can close the guest page earlier, which does not bring deletion forward, or delete the event at any time. Events on the Companies & agencies package or on a custom arrangement have no fixed period and are not deleted automatically.

How does Facemory handle privacy?

Guest galleries are not public and are not listed in search engines. Photos are held in private storage and served through short-lived links. Faces in event photos are indexed only after the photographer confirms attendees were informed, and a guest must agree to face processing before their device can be used to search. Facemory does not save the face check video or image.

What languages does Facemory support?

Arabic and English, including right-to-left layout for Arabic across the guest and photographer experiences.
